Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently expanded its after-sales footprint with the opening of the Toyota Los Baños Service Center. The new facility marks TMP’s first standalone service center in the CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region.

The Toyota Toyota Los Baños Service Center is located along Manila South Road in Barangay Maahas, Los Baños, Laguna, and sits on a 6,000 sqm lot. It includes 68 car service bays, comprising 25 productive and 43 holding bays, to improve service efficiency and reduce customer waiting times. The center offers express maintenance, periodic maintenance, general services, and body and paint services, covering a wide range of after-sales service requirements.

TMP President Masando Hashimoto described the opening of Toyota Los Baños Service Center as a milestone for his company’s after-sales expansion. The executive noted that the facility is the first stand-alone service center in Laguna and the ninth installation in the country. He added that the new center represents TMP’s continued partnership with the local community, solidifying its role in strengthening customer trust and supporting every stage of vehicle ownership through reliable service and long-term vehicle support.

TMP sees Los Baños’s location along major transport routes, including the Calamba–Pagsanjan Road, as a strategic place to establish a strong mobility support hub not only for Laguna but also for customers residing in nearby areas. For TMP, the municipality’s role as a center for education, research, eco-tourism, and regional connectivity further defines the relevance of expanded automotive service access.

Toyota Calamba Chairman Egmidio “Eddie” S. Jose noted that the project was envisioned as a world-class facility when construction began in October 2024. He said the completed service center highlights Toyota’s commitment to customer-focused after-sales support and contributes to local development by providing reliable vehicle care.

With its huge capacity and comprehensive service offerings, the Toyota Toyota Los Baños Service Center moves forward with TMP’s mission to further strengthen its nationwide after-sales service.

Autocar’s Take

Toyota’s decision to establish a standalone service facility in Los Baños spotlights a clear understanding of where ownership experience is won or lost – after-sales. In fast-growing regions like Laguna, accessibility to reliable service matters as much as product choice.

The scale of the facility sends a message that Toyota is planning ahead, anticipating continued growth in the vehicle population outside Metro Manila. While new model launches and regular vehicle sales performance updates often dominate headlines, behind-the-scenes investments like this cement brand loyalty and build customer confidence beyond the glamor of presenting a brand-new car on stage under bright lights and loud music.
