BYD Philippines has expanded its network with the opening of the new Baliwag dealership, which is regarded as the first BYD facility in Bulacan. The said dealership also symbolizes the car brand’s readiness to make new energy vehicles more accessible to the local market.
The dealership’s opening ceremony was graced by BYD Baliwag President Anton Macasieb, BYD Philippines Country Head Erroll Duenas, and BYD Philippines Deputy General Manager Lovelyn Labrador.
BYD Baliwag President Macasieb said in his welcome remarks that the dealership is more than just a business, as it “represents a commitment to a new energy future for the province.”
“This is the first home of BYD not only in Baliwag but also in Bulacan. We realized that this is part of the future. We envision quieter streets, cleaner air, safer cars, zero emissions, and, most importantly, happy drivers and happy communities,” Macasieb said.
The opening ceremony was also attended by Baliwag Vice Mayor Ferdie Estrella, who shared that the local government is planning to transition its service fleet to electric vehicles.
“I spoke with Mayor Mommy Sonia, and I suggested, ‘Mayor Mommy, let’s replace the service vehicles of City Hall with full electric. This is the right moment for us to switch to full electric vehicles for our City Hall employees,” Vice Mayor Estrella said.

BYD Baliwag is a dealership that features an eight-car showroom,10 work bays, with both AC and DC chargers, and a 2,600 sqm facility. BYD Philippines previously reported that it has expanded its dealership network, covering key locations in Luzon and Mindanao. The car brand added that this expansion reflects BYD’s commitment to making electric vehicles more accessible to Filipino consumers.
“Reaching this stage of our expansion reflects the growing trust of more Filipinos in BYD and in electric mobility. Every new dealership strengthens our ability to serve more communities and brings us closer to a future where electric mobility is a natural choice for Filipinos,” said BYD Cars PH Managing Director Bob Palanca.
BYD is not looking to slow down anytime soon, as it marked the groundbreaking of BYD Greenhills last November 2025, which is the sixth Ayala-owned BYD dealership in the Philippines.
