Hyundai Truck & Bus is offering complimentary vehicle inspections and diagnostic services to commercial vehicle owners in the Philippines as it rolls out the second leg of its Before Service Activity, which runs until November 28, 2026.
Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai Truck & Bus (HTB) in the country, is conducting the nationwide initiative from October 1 to November 28 through participating commercial vehicle dealerships.
The program is designed to encourage preventive maintenance while giving existing customers and prospective business partners greater access to professional after-sales support. Participating dealerships may provide a free 35-point vehicle check-up, inspections using Hyundai’s Global Diagnostic System (GDS), actual vehicle diagnosis, product orientation, and giveaways.
For commercial vehicle operators, keeping vehicles in good working condition is essential to maintaining daily operations. Unexpected mechanical problems can disrupt deliveries, delay schedules, and add to operating expenses. Regular inspections can help identify potential concerns before they develop into more serious issues.
Hyundai’s complimentary 35-point check-up is intended to flag possible vehicle problems early, while the GDS inspection allows trained technicians to use Hyundai’s diagnostic tools and systems to assess vehicle conditions more accurately.
Beyond the technical services, the Before Service Activity also gives HARI and its dealership network an opportunity to reconnect with existing owners, including those who have become inactive customers. The campaign also aims to introduce prospective customers to the support services available through Hyundai Truck & Bus dealerships.

HARI Vice Chairman, President, and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo said the company’s responsibility extends beyond the initial vehicle purchase, emphasizing the importance of continued support throughout a commercial vehicle’s working life.
She added that the initiative aims to make professional vehicle care more accessible while helping the company understand changing customer needs.
According to Perez-Agudo, providing accessible after-sales assistance can help owners protect their investments, reduce operational disruptions, and keep their businesses running.
The second leg of the Before Service Activity builds on Hyundai Truck & Bus’ efforts to maintain customer relationships through more proactive vehicle care. Rather than waiting for problems to arise, the program encourages operators to have their vehicles checked and seek professional guidance from trained technicians.
Interested customers are encouraged to contact or visit their nearest participating Hyundai Truck & Bus dealership to confirm the available services and learn more about the campaign. As offerings may vary by dealership, owners should check which complimentary services are available before visiting.
The program runs until November 28, 2026.

Autocar’s Take
Preventive maintenance is easy to postpone, especially when a commercial vehicle is still earning money and showing no obvious problems. That is precisely why Hyundai Truck & Bus’ Before Service Activity makes sense. Free vehicle inspections and diagnostics give operators an opportunity to catch potential issues before they become costly headaches.
The bigger deal is whether customers will continue maintaining their vehicles after the campaign ends. A complimentary check-up is a useful starting point, but consistent servicing is what keeps a business fleet dependable. For operators, taking advantage of the program is a practical step toward protecting their investment.
