VinFast successfully ended its first full operating year in the Philippines in 2025. During its debut year, VinFast shared that its business operations in the country are driven to offer products as well as yield strategic partnerships.
VinFast Philippines said that its first year in the automotive industry saw dealer expansion alongside aftersales planning, while charging infrastructure rolled out in parallel with financing programs. The Vietnamese car brand added that “rather than waiting for demand to mature on its own, VinFast worked to remove the obstacles that typically slow first-time [electric vehicle] EV buyers.”
VinFast Southeast Asia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Antonio “Toti” Zara said that the car brand is “still in the early stages of setting up operations in the Philippines.” Zara added that VinFast is “building the organization, the dealer network, and the ecosystem.”
Zara also expressed that VinFast is “rewriting the rules in aftersales, in service accessibility, and in value guarantees.” But it is worth noting that among the priority tasks of VinFast PH is “to make EV ownership an easier decision for Filipino consumers,” according to Zara.
The car brand noted that service accessibility is one of the concerns for Filipino consumers who consider buying an EV. As such, VinFast PH made strategic partnerships by expanding beyond a dealership-only service model.

Throughout 2025, VinFast partnered with established service chains in the Philippines, including Motech, JIGA, Goodyear Philippines, Tire King, Power Tread, and Marcjan Cavite. By accrediting these workshops to handle preventive maintenance, warranty repairs, diagnostics, and software updates, VinFast pushed toward a nationwide footprint of more than 100 authorized service locations.
Aside from expanding its service network in the country, VinFast PH also addressed ownership concerns with the launch of its Residual Value Guarantee program. The car brand shared that the said program guarantees up to 90 percent of a vehicle’s original value after six months, followed by a fixed depreciation schedule over the next three years.
“With a residual value guarantee of up to 90% of the vehicle’s list price, VinFast aims to make EV ownership more accessible and reassuring for Filipino consumers,” Zara said at the program’s launch.
VinFast’s ecosystem became most visible to the public with the launch of its strategic partner, Green GSM, which is operating across Metro Manila and recently in Davao.
Charging infrastructure expanded alongside fleet deployment. VinFast has supported customers with a free charging program at its dedicated charging station network, valid until May 1, 2027, providing zero fuel cost benefits to customers. The network is operated by its strategic partner, the Global Charging Station Development Company V-GREEN.

Currently, VinFast PH is offering products across the range, which includes the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9.
The car brand shared that the VF 3 and VF 5 addressed “dense urban use, tight parking, and short daily trips.” The VF 6 and VF 7, on the other hand, “brought space, comfort, and long-distance capability into the mix, aimed at families and professionals.” At the top of the range sits the VF 9, the flagship model that “offers everything VinFast has to offer, turned up several notches.”
