Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team partners with Sting Energy Drink

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 (F1) team announced that Sting Energy Drink will be among its partners come 2026. The global partnership of Sting Energy is seen to boost Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team’s appeal to the younger audience demographic.  

Sting Energy, a drink under PepsiCo, shared that its partnership with the iconic F1 team reflects the brand’s commitment to performance, innovation, and excellence. Sting Energy also expressed that its partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team will enable the brand to establish a deeper connection to F1 fans around the world.   

“This partnership unites performance, energy, and flavor under one banner – connecting three of PepsiCo’s most iconic brands with the world’s most successful Formula 1 team. Through Gatorade, Sting, and Doritos, we’re inside the culture of the sport, fueling both the athletes and the fans who live for the thrill of F1,” said PepsiCo International Beverages Chief Executive Officer Eugene Willemsen. 

Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Principal & Chief Executive Officer Toto Wolff said that its partnership with Sting makes sense since it aligns with the team’s passion for chasing ultimate performance through innovation and excellence.  

“Welcoming a company with a portfolio as strong as PepsiCo’s into our partner ecosystem is another sign of the strength of our team and our sport. As a brand, they align perfectly with our ethos of chasing ultimate performance through innovation and excellence. Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team and Sting released a video, which you can watch at the end of the article, to announce their partnership for the 2026 season. The video shows an F1 engine revving in a way that sounds like it is saying “Stinggggg.”

The current F1 season is down to the final race, which will be happening in Abu Dhabi this coming December 7. The final race of the season is set to be a thriller as the Driver’s Championship can be won by either McLaren’s Lando Norris, Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen, or McLaren’s Oscar Piastri.

Meanwhile, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team is currently sitting at second place in the Teams’ Standing behind McLaren.
