In 2019, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) introduced the Traviz small commercial truck to cater to more Filipinos looking to expand their businesses. Today, the Japanese carmaker proudly announced that it sold 30,825 units of the Traviz as of June 2025, further cementing IPC’s 25-year strong status as the Philippines’ number 1 truck brand.
To celebrate the milestone, Isuzu raffled off a travel package worth P300,000 to one of its Traviz buyers. IPC coursed the raffle through its Road To Traviz 30,000 Units Sold, a nationwide sales boosting promo which ran from March 1 to May 31, 2025.
Hailing from San Pablo in Laguna, Jerlyn B. Perena was the lucky winner of the travel prize. Perena is a businesswoman in the events and catering services field who purchased a Traviz unit from Isuzu San Pablo.
Perena shared that the Traviz has become a vital part of her business’ daily operations. She used the Traviz for such tasks as site visits, staff and supplies transport, and even personal errands. According to perena, “Malaking tulong po sa aming business kasi everyday gamit namin. Versatile yung kanyang style, masusulit mo talaga yung bayad (It’s a big help to our business because we use it every day. Its design is versatile, and you really get your money’s worth).”
IPC followed through by sharing that the Isuzu Traviz has become a preferred mobility solution for small and medium business enterprises or SMEs. It’s powered by a diesel-sipping 2.5-liter engine that puts out 78 hp and 177 Nm of torque, and is controlled by a 5-speed manual transmission. Its cab and chassis can be customized to suit a wide scope of business needs.
Aside from the travel package as grand prize, Isuzu Philippines also raffled off minor prizes such as smartphones, smart watches, and bluetooth speakers to more than 30 participants.
