SAIC Motor Philippines successfully showcased a unique and engaging display at the recently concluded Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025, featuring a fully disassembled MG3 Hybrid+ at the MG booth. The exhibit was part of MG’s newly launched “Made Global, Made Great” campaign, underlining the brand’s commitment to world-class quality and innovation.
Through the display, MG highlighted the engineering excellence behind the MG3 Hybrid+, with its components sourced from globally renowned automotive brands. These parts, developed through SAIC Motor’s joint ventures with international leaders, demonstrated MG’s dedication to superior product quality and reliable aftersales support.
Among the global brands featured were:
- Sanden Huayu Automotive Air-Conditioning Co., Ltd. (Japan): Supplier of the air-conditioning compressor, combining Japanese and Chinese expertise.
- BorgWarner (North America): Provider of the EGR valve, renowned for its propulsion system innovations.
- Bosch (Germany): Partner for critical systems including the brake booster, fuel rail, throttle body, ECM module, and steering systems through the joint venture United Automotive Electronic Systems Co., Ltd. (UAES).
- Gates Corporation (North America): Supplier of engine intake components, belts, and timing systems.
- Continental AG (Germany): Provider of high-voltage wiring harnesses, insulation, and interior systems.
- Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) (China): Supplier of the high-voltage battery, the global leader in EV and hybrid battery technologies.
