Ford Philippines has announced that the Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 will now be a permanent addition to its vehicle lineup. Due to high demand from customers, the more powerful and capable Raptor variant will continue to be available in the brand’s performance vehicle portfolio.
Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines, expressed his excitement over the model’s continued availability: “The Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 is a personal favorite, and I am thrilled that more customers will have the opportunity to experience its exceptional power and versatility.”
Launched at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last October with a limited quantity of 300 units, the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 quickly became one of Ford’s best-selling models, attracting customers and enthusiasts to Ford dealerships and various test drive events.
Engineered by Ford Performance, the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 features a 3.0L V6 Twin-Turbo EcoBoost Engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering 397PS of maximum power and 583Nm of maximum torque. This setup enables outstanding performance both on and off-road. The class-exclusive, electronically controlled active exhaust system offers drivers the ability to switch between mild and wild engine sounds.
The vehicle’s suspension has also been enhanced, with FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shock absorbers, allowing the Raptor to handle rugged terrain with ease while delivering exceptional performance.
Ford has incorporated the MyMode “R” button, allowing drivers to personalize various settings including steering feel, suspension stiffness, exhaust mode, engine auto stop/start function, four-wheel drive mode, and rear electronic differential activation.
For the first time, the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 is equipped with an advanced permanent four-wheel drive system that features an electronically controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case, combined with front and rear locking differentials—ideal for off-road enthusiasts.
The truck offers up to seven selectable drive modes, including the off-road “Baja” mode, designed for high-speed off-roading. Each mode adjusts elements such as engine, transmission, ABS sensitivity, traction, exhaust valve actuation, and steering response. Additionally, the digital displays in the instrument cluster and center touchscreen change color to match the selected mode.
Simoes added, “With the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 now widely available, Filipino customers have more options to choose from, complementing the Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel Engine. Pickup enthusiasts now have the flexibility to select a Raptor that fits their specific needs and lifestyles.”
The Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 is priced at P2,739,000 and comes with a 5-year warranty. The truck is available in multiple colors, including Arctic White, Absolute Black, Blue Lightning, Command Grey, and Code Orange (additional P15,000 for Code Orange).
