Lynk & Co celebrates 8th Anniversary

On October 20, Lynk & Co celebrated its 8th anniversary, marking a journey of remarkable achievements since the brand’s launch in 2016 in Berlin, Germany. As a global premium brand, Lynk & Co has demonstrated its innovation, global reach, and strong presence in the automotive industry.

Expanding the Product Lineup

Founded as a joint venture between Geely and Volvo, Lynk & Co brings together global perspectives and resources. Over the past eight years, the brand has grown to offer a diverse product lineup, spanning 10 series from compact to full-size models. These vehicles cater to a range of powertrains, including internal combustion engines (ICE), hybrid electric (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and battery electric (BEV). Notably, in June 2024, the brand introduced its first all-electric sedan, the Lynk & Co Z10, in Gothenburg, Sweden. Built on the SEA platform, the Z10 represents a significant leap in Lynk & Co’s transition towards new energy vehicles.

Revolutionizing Automotive Design

Lynk & Co has continuously evolved its design philosophy over the years. Drawing inspiration from dynamic urban environments, the brand introduced its second-generation design language, “The Next Day,” built on the “Mega-city Contrast” concept. This fresh approach, first showcased with the Next Day concept car in 2022, offers a bold interpretation of urban aesthetics. Since the launch of the Lynk & Co 08 in 2023, this innovative design language has become a hallmark of the brand’s new energy models.

Delivering High-Performance Vehicles

Performance has always been at the core of Lynk & Co’s identity, with the brand’s racing DNA evident in its vehicles. With six consecutive World Touring Car Racing (TCR) championships between 2019 and 2023, Lynk & Co has proven its engineering prowess on the track. This commitment to race-level tuning translates to everyday road performance, allowing mass-produced models to deliver an exhilarating driving experience.

Accelerating Global Expansion

Since unveiling its global strategy, Lynk & Co has made significant strides in expanding its market presence. By September 2024, the brand established nearly 700 retail locations worldwide, including Lynk & Co Centers, Spaces, and Clubs, across Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Latin America. Guided by its philosophy of “More Than a Car,” Lynk & Co is dedicated to creating personalized, connected spaces for its customers, transforming the car-buying and ownership experience.

Looking Forward

With over 1.24 million loyal customers around the world, Lynk & Co continues to solidify its position as a forward-thinking, globally-minded brand with deep ties to motorsports and a passion for innovation. As the brand looks to the future, it remains committed to challenging industry conventions, expanding its global reach, and achieving new milestones in automotive excellence.
