Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) continues to expand its reach across the country with the opening of two new service centers—one located in South Cotabato in Mindanao and another in Cebu in the Visayas. These newly established facilities, the Toyota Koronadal Service Center and Toyota Danao, Cebu Service Center, aim to provide Toyota owners in these regions access to high-quality, reliable car maintenance services, enhancing the overall customer experience and convenience of Toyota ownership.
During the inauguration of the Toyota Koronadal Service Center, TMP President Masando Hashimoto emphasized the city’s potential as an economic hub in Mindanao. He noted that Toyota’s expansion into Koronadal is in line with the company’s commitment to support the economic and urban growth of the region.
“The City of Koronadal is one of the thriving cities in Mindanao. The prospects are truly promising with urbanization through residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments,” Hashimoto remarked. “Indeed, Toyota’s presence is a commitment to support the economic growth and development of the city.”
He further explained that the Toyota Koronadal Service Center is designed to accommodate up to 35 customers daily. In addition to after-sales services, the center will also feature a display area for new cars, allowing customers to view the latest Toyota models and inquire about sales options. This service facility aims to ensure Toyota owners in the region have access to top-tier maintenance services, helping them keep their vehicles in optimal condition.
Located at Purok Malipayon, Barangay Sto. Niño, Bo. 2, Koronadal, South Cotabato, the service center operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. It offers essential after-sales services, including periodic maintenance and light repairs, all of which are crucial to maintaining the longevity and performance of Toyota vehicles.
Koronadal, also known as Marbel, serves as the capital of South Cotabato and is a central player in the SOCCSKSARGEN region’s agricultural sector. Spanning an area of 277 square kilometers, this bustling city is vital to the production of rice, corn, and other crops, benefiting from its strategic location along the Pan-Philippine Highway. As Koronadal continues to grow, Toyota’s new service center is positioned to contribute significantly to the city’s expanding infrastructure.
In the Visayas, TMP also inaugurated the Toyota Danao, Cebu Service Center, marking Toyota’s first major investment in Danao City. President Hashimoto highlighted the city’s forward-thinking approach to development and Toyota’s role in contributing to its progress.
“The local government’s vision to be a model of sustainable development is supported by many programs such as urbanization, digitalization, investment promotion, tourism, and active mobility. We are delighted to be the Government’s partner in building a more progressive Danao City,” Hashimoto shared.
He expressed pride in Toyota Motor Philippines’ role as the first automotive company to invest in Danao, reflecting the brand’s dedication to fostering growth in the region. The service center will serve the ever-growing number of Toyota owners in Cebu, providing a range of maintenance and repair services designed to keep vehicles in top shape. In addition to after-sales services, the center will also feature a display of the latest Toyota models for customer viewing and sales inquiries.
Toyota Danao, Cebu Service Center is the 8th service center established by TMP. The facility offers a full suite of services, including Periodic Maintenance, General Job repairs, and Body and Paint Services, ensuring that all Toyota vehicles are well-maintained and ready for the road. The service center operates from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, at Sabang 6004, Danao City, Cebu.
Danao City, located approximately 33 kilometers north of Cebu’s city center, is a rapidly growing urban center with a rich agricultural and fishing industry. The city’s strategic location along the coast, combined with its agricultural productivity, makes it an essential part of Cebu’s economic landscape. Toyota’s presence in Danao is expected to contribute to the city’s continued development and provide a valuable service hub for its residents.
