JETOUR Auto Philippines (JAPI) opens Davao and General Santos showrooms. According to JETOUR, these dealerships will bolster their market presence in central and southern Mindanao, two of the region’s fastest-growing automotive markets. Making this possible is JETOUR’s partnership with the Angcore Motor Company, Inc., a company in General Santos City that has been in the automotive business since the 1970s.
Angcore is currently under the leadership of their President Edgar N. Ang, VP for Operations Antonio M. Ang, and their board of directors. They are backed up by seven decades of extensive knowledge of the local automotive market, particularly the region’s mobility, transport, logistics and enterprise needs and preferences. JETOUR believes that the company has the necessary resources, manpower, and wisdom to bring the world-renowned brand of SUVs, C-SUVs, and EVs into the forefront of the Mindanao mobility market.
The JETOUR Auto Davao can display up to 7 units in their showroom. Up to 44 vehicles can be accommodated in the service bays. The JETOUR Auto General Santos City showroom, on the other hand, can display up to 3 units, and a service bay that can accommodate up to 3 vehicles. Combined, JETOUR Auto Davao and General Santos City target a network share of 5.4%.
JETOUR Auto Davao’s and JETOUR Auto General Santos City’s dealership inaugurations follow the theme “Accelerating Success Together”, introduced in this year’s JETOUR Dealer Commitment Ceremony. JETOUR’s 22 dealers nationwide expressed solidarity and eagerness to meet JAPI’s 2024 targets of opening 10 more Metro Manila dealerships (from the current 5) and 14 more provincial dealerships (from the current 7) by the end of 2024. Their goal is to achieve overall sales growth of 3,700 vehicles (700 of which would be EVs) this year, up from the 1,018 units sold in 2023.
