Brendon Vetuskey, the lead designer for the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks diecast vehicles and the Red Line Club diecast vehicles will judge the Top 10 finalists and determine the Hot Wheels Philippines Legend on August 26, 4:00pm at SM Mall of Asia – Main Mall Atrium.
Starting August 21, Monday, the top 10 finalist of the Hot Wheels Philippines Legends are on display at the Mall of Asia – Main Mall Atrium until the finals day on August 26. The top 10 finalist includes a Safari Rally 1974 Porsche 911, RE Amemiya 1994 Mazda RX-7, 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser LC70 Fire Truck, Sam Luison’s 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40, 2017 Toyota Hilux, Banawe Boy’s Civic front-end-swapped 1998 Honda Orthia, Buzzhype’s 1988 Toyota Cressida, 2016 Toyota FJ Cruiser custom crawler, 2022 SR Performance Batman Race custom crawler, and a 1997 Toyota Hilux LN166.

So what does it take to be a Hot Wheels Philippines Legend? The popular diecast toy car brand shared that a custom car build must first be authentic. It must be a spectacular ride that absolutely fits a Hot Wheels card. Second, it must be original. Since 1968, the brand has made thousands of vehicle models. Hot Wheels is looking for never-before-seen designs that stand out from the rest. Lastly, it must have that garage spirit. A custom car that has been built with elbow grease, must be built not bought.

The chosen custom car build is set to participate in the Hot Wheels Legends Global Semi-Finals and be entitled for Asia Pacific Fan Favorite Selection. Over P100,000 total worth of prizes to be given away to all lucky winners.
Hot Wheels Legends Philippines is powered by Sonax, Vinyl Frog, Liqui Moly, Little Trees, CW Home Depot, Metrics.
