Leading mobility company Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has turned over two units of its 29-seater mini bus, the Toyota Coaster, to the Gilas Pilipinas national basketball team. The vehicles will be used by the team, the management, and coaching staff during men’s national basketball team’s stint at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 being co-hosted by the Philippines from August 25 to September 10.

Aside from being the official mobility partner of the national team, TMP is also one of the local event sponsors of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
Earlier this year, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas has welcomed TMP as key partner that will help move the association forward in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 journey.
TMP is taking part in this year’s FIBA Basketball World Cup as a local major sponsor. In line with that, it has also entered into a partnership with the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) and Gilas Pilipinas as well.
“It is with great appreciation and warmth that we welcome Toyota Motor Philippines to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 family,” said SBP Chairman Emeritus Manny V. Pangilinan.
