The third and final round of the 2025 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup (Toyota GR Cup) has concluded in the most thrilling way. Closing the season with a mark in Philippine motorsport history, the Toyota GR Cup not only saw podiums of talented drivers deserving of championship titles, but it also flagged off the Tamaraw Cup circuit and drag exhibition races, which will become regular events in the Toyota GR Cup race weekends, starting next year.

Organized by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), the 2025 season finale took place last August 9 at the 4.2 km long Clark International Speedway (CIS) in Pampanga. Hundreds of on-location and online spectators joined the fun with interactive activities for everyone.

Headlining the weekend were the inaugural Tamaraw Cup exhibition events. Featuring race prepped Toyota Tamaraw pickups, these machines were piloted by past Vios Cup champions Allan Uy, Daniel Miranda, Estefano Rivera, John Dizon, and GR Development Driver Aaron Guevara. The exhibition races proved the Tamaraw’s capabilities as a race machine for both circuit and drag races, making the Tamaraw Cup an official race class and part of the Toyota GR Cup by next year.
