This is how a Land Cruiser will be like

Right! So we are now in Tokyo for the 2023 Japanese Mobility Show. This is an exciting year because Tokyo has now morphed from the old Motor Show to a broader encompassing mobility platform.

What does that mean? Well, now, not only will we see future, fantastic cars, we will see many of the gadgets and contraptions that have been born be3cause of the electric vehicle movement.

From on-board mobile phones, talking cars, self driving cars, cars with computer screens to cars that may possibly fly (I don’t know, this is Japan).

Anyway, one thing we know, Toyota’s favorite all terrain SUV, the Land Cruiser, is getting an electric upgrade.

Yes, gearheads (don’t cry petrolheads) Toyota is introducing their Toyota Land Cruiser Se, the EV version that comes with the times, electric times.

The spec sheets says the LC Se will “offer the high-torque driving performance unique to BEV’s (battery electric vehicles).”

It will also come in an elegant, stylish design complete with three-row seat for an SUV that “caters to  the world’s diverse needs.

This LC Se will be in a monocoque body that offers highly responsive handling, giving confidence in tackling rough terrains.

Toyota says the BEV quietness helps create a comfortable cabin space even when driving urbanb areas ands other on-road situations.

But don’t get your juices up justb yet because we are looking at a display model and we do not know when this will be in mass production.

Suffice it to say this will be one of the many future models Toyota will be exhibiting at the 2023 Japanese Mobility Show.

We expect more technology from Toyota in the next few days, because as it has always been said “Europe will give you the most beautiful body design, but Tokyo will deliver the latest in mobility technology.”
