Kia’s subcompact crossover SUV is all set to make its world debut later this month. To pump up excitement for the debut, Kia shared teaser images of the all-new Seltos, which features a sharper, more assertive exterior look.
As a review, the Kia Seltos was first introduced in the global market last 2019. For the all-new model, Kia said that the next-generation Seltos builds on the legacy of the car brand’s successful nameplates. The Korean automaker added that the next-generation Seltos embodies “authentic SUV styling while expressing a forward-looking, high-tech character.”
The next-generation Kia Seltos is set to feature a more assertive exterior, highlighted by a bolder, sharper front end. Based on the teaser image shared by Kia, the next-gen Seltos will come with a striking fascia, similar to the design treatment applied to the new Kia Sportage and Sorento. The car brand said that the Seltos features Kia’s signature Star Map daytime running lights.
Guided by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, the exterior features powerful proportions, bold cladding, and technical surfacing that project confidence and agility.
The next-gen Kia Seltos will most likely come with more prominent character lines. It will also have a shark-fin antenna, roof rails, and a revamped roof-mounted spoiler. At the rear, the upcoming Seltos is set to feature a more modern taillight design. It doesn’t just look striking, but it gives the Seltos a clean yet striking finish.
Kia has yet to give a glimpse of the next-gen Seltos’ interior design. For now, the Korean automaker has only shared the exterior preview of its subcompact crossover SUV.
Reflecting its expanded global ambitions, the all-new Kia Seltos is said to introduce a broader range of exterior colors. Distinctive trims such as X-Line and GT-Line will also be available, offering customers greater freedom to express individuality with confidence.
Kia will unveil the full design and product details of the next-generation Seltos during its online world premiere on December 10.
