The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) launches Oplan Biyaheng Ayos at Ligtas to address the expected influx of passenger volume for this year’s Undas season. The PITX aims to give passengers a safe, smooth, and convenient travel experience.
PITX shared that it is expecting a 20 percent increase in passenger volume due to the thousands of Filipinos who will travel back to their hometowns for Undas. Compared to regular days, PITX said an estimated 180,000 additional passengers per day are expected until November 5, 2025. As such, the management of PITX implemented crowd and traffic management while reinforcing coordination with transport operators and government partners.
The PITX partnered with inDrive and various government agencies, such as the Department of Transportation (DOTr), to ensure that passenger and public transportation traffic flows smoothly during the expected surge in people inside the terminal this Undas season.
Aside from the DOTr, the PITX is working with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and the Philippine National Police (PNP) to ensure order and safety across all stages of travel.

PITX management said that the LTFRB is deploying additional public utility buses and monitoring available routes to address the increased passenger demand. The MMDA, on the other hand, is implementing traffic management strategies around the terminal to maintain smooth vehicle and pedestrian flow.
The LTO conducts random vehicle inspections and driver checks to uphold roadworthiness and safety standards, while the PNP maintains peace and order throughout the terminal. The Philippine Red Cross also has a first-aid station and emergency response teams on the PITX premises.

To complement these efforts, ride-hailing platform inDrive is activating its Ligtas Biyahe campaign at PITX and other key transport hubs nationwide. The initiative aims to educate commuters about safe ride practices and provide additional support to travelers on the go.
inDrive shares that it is expecting to assist around 3,000 passengers through its on-ground activation at PITX. Its booth at the PITX features free travel care packs and interactive QR codes linking to the inDrive app and its safety video.
