OPPO launches 2025 Photography Awards

OPPO has officially launched the OPPO Photography Awards 2025, its annual global mobile photography competition. Designed to showcase exceptional visual storytelling, the initiative invites OPPO users worldwide to capture everyday moments using the brand’s advanced imaging technology.

The 2025 edition builds on the momentum of past years, which attracted over one million entries from 81 countries. This year’s competition features expanded categories and the largest prize pool in its history, reaffirming OPPO’s commitment to innovation and creative expression in mobile photography.

“With our new LUMO imaging technology and the slogan ‘Make Your Moment,’ we aim to empower users to tell compelling stories through their lenses,” said Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer of OPPO.

Centered around the theme “Super Every Moment,” the Awards invite entries in eight diverse categories: Snapshot, Youth, Live Photo, Connection, Portrait, Vibe, Photo Series, and Environment. These categories highlight OPPO’s belief in the emotional and cultural significance of everyday photography.

This year introduces a wider array of honors, including Jury’s Choice, Audience’s Choice, Regional Awards, and enhanced Youth recognition, in addition to the Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes. A panel of respected photographers, including Alec Soth, Tang Hui, Tina Signesdottir Hult, Wang Jianjun, Trunk Xu, and Pete Lau, will lead the judging process.

At the center of OPPO’s imaging innovation is the LUMO Imaging System, which combines high-end hardware and computational photography to deliver vivid tones, cinematic bokeh, and emotionally rich imagery.

Submissions are open until 24:00 UTC+8 on November 20, 2025, via the official OPPO LUMO IMAGE website. Further details can be found at https://lumo.oppo.com/en.
