Mober, the pioneer of green logistics services in the Philippines, has officially launched its sustainable delivery services in Cebu, marking a significant milestone in the regional expansion of Swedish home furnishing giant IKEA Philippines.

As IKEA Philippines’ green logistics partner, Mober will deploy its 100% electric vehicle (EV) fleet to support home deliveries in Cebu and other Visayas provinces, ensuring zero-emission deliveries. This initiative aligns with IKEA’s commitment to providing high-quality, affordable home products while supporting environmental sustainability.

Mober will also enhance IKEA’s warehousing solutions with a collection hub located in Cebu City. This hub will expedite delivery times and increase product accessibility for households across the Visayas. Additionally, the hub will serve as the last-mile delivery point for IKEA’s sustainable products and house Mober’s EV charging stations.

The Cebu City facility includes Mober’s latest 15kW OCPP chargers, compatible with type 2 and GB/T standards, ensuring efficient support for Mober’s EV fleet.

“We are thrilled to expand our green delivery solutions to the Visayas,” said Mober Founder and CEO Dennis Ng. “This represents a leap forward for the Philippines in embracing sustainable practices across the logistics industry. As EV ownership gains momentum, Mober is well-positioned to further its commitment to providing sustainable business solutions towards a net-zero carbon emission future. Together, let’s reduce our carbon footprint one delivery at a time.”

As a leader in green logistics in the Philippines, Mober supports the end-to-end supply chain sustainability of major FMCG and retail brands. Beyond IKEA Philippines, Mober partners with SM Appliance Center, Unilever Philippines, Nestle Philippines, Nespresso, and logistics companies Maersk and Kuehne+Nagel.

Mober offers a unique partnership model that enables businesses to transition to green delivery operations with zero capital expenditures (CapEx) or upfront costs, democratizing access to green logistics. This hassle-free collaboration encourages more companies to embrace sustainable logistics, reinforcing Mober’s role as a game-changer in the sector.

As we look to the future, Mober is committed to being at the forefront of this green revolution. This is just the beginning of a more sustainable Philippines, and we are proud to lead the charge,” Ng added.
