Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially launched the Destinator, a seven-seater crossover SUV that sits between the Xpander and the Montero Sport. The car brand said that the Destinator combines the driving feel of an SUV with the versatility and practicality of an MPV.

MMPC also shared that the all-new 2026 Mitsubishi Destinator is built around three core promises that define its character, which are confidence, capability, and prestige. It is a vehicle that represents the current Mitsubishi design language, which one can also see on the XForce.

The Mitsubishi Destinator comes with a bold and assertive exterior, which is highlighted by the car brand’s signature Dynamic Shield front grille design. The bold exterior is further emphasized by the vehicle’s large front bumper, giving the Destinator an assertive demeanor. It is then given a modern look through the LED headlights and the daytime running lights, which not only enhance visibility on the road but also make the Destinator stand out.

Turning at the side, the Destinator features prominent wheel arches that give the vehicle a muscular look. It also has sleek character lines that flow seamlessly along the sides, while the 18-inch machine-cut two-tone alloy wheels offer a nice pinch of sportiness.

The Destinator’s rear is equally striking as the front end. It comes with a T-shaped taillight design, giving the vehicle a distinctive finish. In case you’re wondering, the 2026 Mitsubishi Destinator has a ground clearance of 214mm. Interestingly, the smaller Mitsubishi Xpander Cross comes with a slightly higher ground clearance, rated at 225mm.

Inside, the all-new Mitsubishi Destinator features a two-tone cabin with splashes of silver trim. It can seat up to seven occupants with roof-mounted air con vents for the rear passengers. The dashboard comes with a modern look, thanks to the 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that’s placed at the center. The said touchscreen has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which will come in handy for individuals who always want to be connected.

The Destinator also has a Smart Rear View Mirror for an unobstructed view from behind the vehicle, while the eight-inch multi-information instrument cluster further adds to the vehicle’s modern cabin theme.

The 2026 Mitsubishi Destinator comes with 64-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and an 8-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha audio system. Practical touches such as seatback tables on the second row, a Nanoe™X air purification system, and a console box with a cooling further add to the overall cabin convenience.

The Destinator has several drive modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, and the new Tarmac Mode, which is said to help ensure optimal performance and stability.
