MINI Philippines unveils the all-new Aceman EV

MINI Philippines proudly unveils the first-ever all-electric MINI Aceman, marking the brand’s entry into the premium small car crossover segment. Launched on February 5 at the MINI Bonifacio Global City showroom, this innovative model embodies Sir Alec Issigonis’ vision: maximizing space with a minimal footprint while incorporating a modern electric drivetrain.

The MINI Aceman features a progressive design, offering seating for five within its compact 4.07-meter length. Cutting-edge technology enhances the interior, delivering an immersive digital experience, while its all-electric powertrain ensures a dynamic driving experience synonymous with MINI’s go-kart feel. This model represents a step forward in MINI’s commitment to an all-electric future.

According to Willy Tee Ten, President of the Autohub Group of Companies, “We are thrilled to introduce the all-electric MINI Aceman in the Philippines. This exceptional vehicle blends MINI’s signature urban adventure spirit with iconic design elements, inspiring a new generation of drivers passionate about fashion, technology, and culture.”

The striking front-end design features robust contours and an athletic stance. A streamlined front, short overhangs, and a functional two-box design enhance space utilization. The distinctive octagonal grille, finished in Vibrant Silver, is accompanied by angular LED headlights with three different daytime running light modes. Expressive body colors and 19” wheels further emphasize the Aceman’s adventurous character.

Inside, the Aceman follows the “Charismatic Simplicity” design philosophy, presenting a minimalist yet functional layout. A 240mm circular OLED display with MINI Operating System 9 enables intuitive touch and voice controls. MINI Experience Modes project unique ambient lighting and dynamic dashboard graphics, while a redesigned toggle bar for key driving functions allows for additional center console storage. The spacious rear seating features a 60:40 split-folding function, expanding cargo space from 300L to 1,005L.

Under the hood, the Aceman delivers exhilarating performance with its 160 kW (218 hp) electric motor, producing 330 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 170 km/h. The high-voltage 54.2 kWh battery provides an impressive range of up to 407 km (WLTP), while precise chassis tuning ensures superior handling and ride comfort. MINI Driving Sounds and customizable driving modes enhance the personalized driving experience.

Charging and connectivity are equally advanced. The Aceman supports AC charging up to 11 kW and DC fast charging up to 95 kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in under 30 minutes. Intelligent pre-conditioning optimizes battery performance based on weather conditions. The MINI Digital Key Plus enables seamless vehicle access via smartphone, while advanced driver assistance features, including steering and lane guidance and automated parking assistance, provide additional convenience.

With the launch of the all-electric MINI Aceman, MINI Philippines continues to drive forward in shaping the future of urban mobility while staying true to its heritage of fun, stylish, and dynamic driving experiences.
