The MG Cyberster all-electric sports car is coming to Davao this weekend for the second leg of MG Philippines’ New Energy Tour. Catch a glimpse of the Cyberster and other new energy vehicles (NEVs) from MG PH in the metal at SM City Davao (Ecoland) from October 17 to 19, 2025.
MG PH’s New Energy Tour is a nationwide roadshow and test-drive event that aims to highlight the brand’s latest technology, hybrid advancements, and global design identity. This is the second installment of MG PH’s New Energy Tour, which kicked off last September at SM Iloilo.
Similar to the first leg, MG PH is aiming to give visitors in Davao a chance to know more about the brand’s latest model lineup of NEVs, such as the sharp-looking Cyberster, which is MG’s first-ever all-electric roadster. MG PH will also be displaying the all-new ZS Hybrid+, its challenger in the growing crossover segment, now featuring a hybrid powertrain.
To further showcase its hybrid powertrain, MG PH will also allow visitors to learn more about how it works through an Interactive Hybrid Visual Module display. Through this interactive display, visitors can see how MG vehicles seamlessly shift between electric, hybrid, and gasoline power. Moreover, this is MG PH’s way of showing how its hybrid technology combines performance, efficiency, and practicality.
Guests can also test drive MG’s latest hybrid and gasoline-powered models during the event to get a firsthand experience of what it feels like driving an MG vehicle. There will be a dedicated test-drive area at the event.
MG PH President Felix Jiang said the New Energy Tour aims to showcase how MG combines performance, advanced technology, and value for money.
“The MG New Energy Tour is all about bringing our future-ready lineup closer to Filipinos. Our goal is to show that MG offers more than just vehicles—it’s the future of mobility that blends performance, advanced technology, and value for money. At MG, we provide mobility solutions for the discerning consumers who value quality, sustainability, and practicality,” said Jiang.
Aside from the vehicle display and test-drive opportunity, MG is offering up to Php 400,000 in cash discounts on select NEVs, as well as a special zero-percent interest financing program for up to 60 months with only a 20 percent down payment.
The MG New Energy Tour Davao Leg runs from October 17 to 19, 2025, at SM City Davao (Ecoland). Admission is free.
