Mazda Philippines proudly introduces the refreshed 2025 Mazda BT-50, a rugged yet refined pickup engineered to empower drivers to pursue their passions—whether for work or adventure. Thoroughly updated in both form and function, the BT-50 showcases Mazda’s commitment to blending utility, comfort, and cutting-edge technology.

“The BT-50 is a vital part of our product lineup and reflects our philosophy of building vehicles that serve as life enablers,” said Steven Tan, President and CEO of Mazda Philippines. “This latest version takes that commitment even further, offering bolder styling, improved features, and capabilities that deliver real-world performance and value.”

Progressive Design, Unmistakably Mazda

Carrying the essence of Mazda’s KODO – Soul of Motion design philosophy, the new BT-50 exhibits a striking front fascia with a Black Metallic Signature Wing grille and hexagonal mesh inserts. Standard LED headlamps with leveling control ensure enhanced visibility, while the redesigned bumper and integrated air curtains improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency. A front skid plate further reinforces its robust character.

At the rear, aesthetic updates include a new ridged tailgate design, Tailgate Assist function, larger Mazda branding, and LED taillights with Emergency Stop Signal. Exclusive to the BT-50 4×4 Pangolin Edition are unique accessories such as a Brilliant Black Fashion Bar, two-tone fender flares, and 18-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels with All-Terrain tires.

Built for Real-World Performance

The BT-50 is equipped with a 3.0-liter DOHC turbo diesel engine delivering 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Its frame, made of high-tensile steel, provides strength and durability while remaining lightweight. The BT-50 offers a 1-ton payload and up to 3,500 kg of towing capacity, supported by high ground clearance and water-wading capability of up to 800 mm.

The 4×4 Pangolin Edition introduces Rough Terrain Mode, which works with the shift-on-the-fly 4×4 system and electronic differential lock to maximize grip in difficult conditions. Hill Descent Control further enhances safety on steep descents.

Comfort, Convenience, and Technology

Inside, the BT-50 offers a redesigned 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a new 360-degree camera system. The interface includes a clinometer and is controlled via capacitive touch buttons and physical dials. USB Type C ports and ADAS integration are standard on the Pangolin variant.

Interior appointments include Terracotta and Black leather seats for the 4×2 variant and all-black perforated leather seats with power adjustment for the 4×4 Pangolin. All-weather floor mats, a 7-inch digital meter cluster, 15-watt wireless charger, and premium 8-speaker audio system highlight the cabin’s upscale and functional design.
