Mazda Philippines has introduced the refreshed CX-60, refining its premium 5-seat SUV platform with substantial updates aimed at improving cabin comfort, driving dynamics, and cabin refinement while retaining its performance-focused character.
Since its local debut back in 2023, the Mazda CX-60 has found more than 800 homes nationwide, making the Philippines Mazda’s largest Asian market for the model outside Japan. According to Steven Tan, President and CEO of Mazda Philippines, the latest updates to the CX-60 highlight the brand’s commitment to continuous improvement, rather than surface-level changes.
Headlining the updates is a reworked suspension system designed to enhance ride quality without dulling driver engagement. Softer rear springs, new bump stops, and revised damper settings improve compliance over uneven roads, while firmer front compression rates and relocated front knuckle mounts continue to improve stability. Steering and stability systems have also been recalibrated for better balance and control.
These changes complement Mazda’s large vehicle platform, which uses a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. The configuration optimizes weight distribution between the front and rear axles and positions major engine components closer to the center of the vehicle. Despite its size, the new Mazda CX-60 maintains a tight 5.4-meter turning radius.

Inside, Mazda has improved the CX-60’s noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) suppression with thicker sound insulation on the dashboard and cargo area. Structural improvements, including reinforced doors and a new steering column joint, also contribute to a quieter cabin.
The updated Mazda CX-60 retains its driver-focused layout, highlighted by three digital displays and Mazda’s Driver Personalization System, which automatically adjusts seating, mirrors, and displays based on facial recognition. Premium interior features include Nappa leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
Powering the new Mazda CX-60 is its tried-and-true 3.3-liter mild-hybrid engine available in gasoline (e-Skyactiv-G) and diesel (e-Skyactiv-D) versions. The e-Skyactiv-G is rated at 284 hp and 450 Nm of torque, while the e-Skyactiv-D produces 254 hp and 550 Nm. Both power plants use a 48-volt hybrid system to support smoother engine transitions and improved efficiency.
The new Mazda CX-60 is offered in two variants, with the first being the CX-60 3.3L AWD HEV Turbo with a sticker price of P2,890,000. Then, there’s the top-of-the-line CX-60 3.3L AWD HEV Turbo-D Sport, which sells for P2,990,000. Both variants come with a 5-year free service plan, 3-year vehicle warranty, and 5-year hybrid battery coverage.
