Lynk & Co is proud to share that its 01 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) achieved notable fuel economy during the Department of Energy’s 2025 Fuel Eco Run held last September.

The car brand stated that the 01 PHEV achieved a fuel economy of 58.06 km/L during DOE’s Fuel Eco Run, which took place on the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX). The DOE Fuel Eco Run covered a total distance of around 155 kilometers.

As a refresher, Petron Corporation was the official fuel partner for the 2025 DOE Fuel Eco Run, which included 70 vehicles from various car brands, including Lynk & Co. The fuel eco run was conducted along a stretch or section of the TPLEX, which resulted in the 01 PHEV to achieve a fuel economy of 58.06 km/L.

Lynk & Co said that the 01 PHEV’s fuel efficiency performance at the DOE Fuel Eco Run highlights the vehicle’s ability to maximize its electrified powertrain under real-world expressway conditions. The car brand added that the 01 PHEV can offer a total hybrid driving range of up to 800 kilometers.

Under the hood, the 01 PHEV is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers a combined power output of 258 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

Aside from the 01 PHEV, the Lynk & Co 02 EV, a battery electric vehicle, also yielded a notable fuel economy of 71.71 km/L. The car brand said that the 02 EV can offer a pure electric driving range of up to 435 kilometers on a single charge. Lynk & Co added that the 02 EV features a low drag coefficient (Cd) of approximately 0.25, achieved through the car’s sleek aerodynamic design.

The 02 EV also has a 5-Star Euro NCAP safety rating, achieving scores of 90 percent for Adult Occupant Protection, 87 percent for Child Occupant Protection, 83 percent for Vulnerable Road User Protection, and 89 percent in Safety Assist.
