Lotus refines Eletre and Emeya line-up

Lotus has introduced a streamlined new model structure for its all-electric Eletre hyper-SUV and Emeya hyper-GT, marking a thoughtful evolution in its high-performance EV portfolio. The updated range, now organized under simplified ‘600’ and ‘900’ designations, aligns each model directly with its output figures; 603 hp and 905 hp, respectively. This approach makes the selection process more intuitive for customers while emphasizing each vehicle’s performance credentials.

Drawing from Lotus’ heritage, familiar trim names such as GT SE and SPORT return, offering distinct personalities within each model. Whether prioritizing grand touring comfort, focused dynamics, or bold visual character, buyers can now choose from clearly defined variants with premium equipment pre-configured.

The updated naming system reflects both performance level and standard equipment offerings. Eletre and Emeya are now available in multiple variants under the 600 and 900 badges:

  • 600 models feature a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive layout delivering 450 kW (603 hp) and a 112 kWh battery. Acceleration figures start from 0–100 km/h in 4.15 seconds (Emeya) and 4.5 seconds (Eletre), with a top speed of up to 256 km/h.
  • 900 models raise the bar with 675 kW (905 hp), a two-speed transmission, and 0–100 km/h times as low as 2.78 seconds (Emeya 900 SPORT). The top speed for the Eletre 900 extends to 265 km/h.

Each trim level builds upon a core specification with tailored additions. The GT SE prioritizes refinement with features such as an intelligent glass roof, advanced audio, and illuminated side sills. The SPORT SE emphasizes dynamic capability with adaptive handling systems, active aerodynamic elements, and ventilated, massaging seats. The CARBON trims introduce extensive lightweight materials, both inside and out, further underscoring performance intent.

Buyers can personalize their vehicle through an expanded range of options. New exterior colors; Zenith White and Akoya White—join the palette, while interior finishes such as Quartz and Jasper themes are paired with the brand’s proprietary LOTUSWEAR Performance Fabric. These materials elevate the tactile experience inside the cabin, complemented by ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, and intuitive digital interfaces, including a 29-inch head-up display and KEF audio systems.

Range and charging capability remain key strengths. The Eletre can cover up to 600 km (WLTP), while the Emeya offers up to 610 km. Charging performance is among the best in class: Emeya’s 800V architecture allows 10–80% charging in roughly 14 minutes using a 400 kW DC charger. Eletre achieves the same with a 350 kW DC input in just 20 minutes.

True to Lotus’ legacy of performance engineering, the Eletre and Emeya share core design principles centered on aerodynamic efficiency. Built with the same philosophy that shaped the Evija and Emira, both models apply the concept of porosity, allowing air to move through the bodywork to reduce drag and improve stability.

On the road, the cars deliver what Lotus is known for: precise steering, finely tuned chassis dynamics, and a rewarding driving feel. Whether cruising long distances or seeking performance at speed, both the Eletre and Emeya deliver a high level of driver engagement.
