Lamborghini announced that it has achieved a new sales record in 2025, as it ended the year with more than 10,000 units sold. The car brand said that this sales feat is a testament to its strong market presence globally, which is driven by its hybridization strategy.

The Italian automaker said that it managed to close its sales book for 2025 by delivering a total of 10,747 vehicles globally. Lamborghini shared that its strongest market continues to be EMEA, which is Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In the EMEA markets, Lamborghini posted sales of 4,650 vehicles. The Americas followed, closing 2025 with 3,347 units sold, while the Asia Pacific recorded 2,750 units sold.

Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said that the car brand’s new sales record shows that the company can withstand the different challenges brought upon by the ever-changing trends in the automotive industry.

“Despite challenging market conditions we are very proud of the results achieved in 2025, which confirm Lamborghini’s ability to stand out even in a complex global environment,” Winkelmann said.

“The performance recorded reflects our capacity to interpret market dynamics and to make strategic choices that respond concretely to our customers’ expectations. This approach does not aim for peaks in volumes, but allows us to consolidate the results achieved following the growth of recent years,” Winkelmann added.

The vehicles that anchored Lamborghini’s record sales run in 2025 are the Revuelto and the Urus SE. The Revuelto is the car brand’s first V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), a supercar that combines an internal combustion engine with electric motors. On the other hand, the Lamborghini Urus SE is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.

Joining the two Lamborghini vehicles in achieving the said sales milestone is the Temerario, which is the successor of the Huracán. The Lamborghini Temerario is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that is paired with three electric motors, generating a combined power output of 907 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.

Autocar’s Take

Lamborghini’s record-breaking sales in 2025 show that the Italian car brand is making strides in the right direction. It manages to transition from its ICE-powered supercars into the hybrid era, which is seen in the Temerario, a vehicle that succeeds the Huracán.

Selling more than 10,000 vehicles last year is a milestone not just in the car brand’s sales books, but it is also an indication that the shift to hybrid supercars is getting accepted globally. The sales across EMEA, the Americas, and Asia Pacific reflect Lamborghini’s broad global appeal. For 2026, we could expect Lamborghini to further increase its efforts in pushing for electrified supercars, as its sales numbers in 2025 show that there’s a market for hybrid supercars such as the Revuelto, Urus SE, and Temerario.
