Lalamove Philippines moves to PITX to strengthen its logistics operations

Lalamove Philippines Managing Director Djon Nacario and PITX Chief Executive Advisor Mohit Malhi

Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) today announced its partnership with Lalamove, one  of the country’s leading on-demand delivery platforms, to strengthen Lalamove’s logistics operations by moving to the multi-modal hub to provide better accessibility for its network of partner drivers and  strengthening its intra- and inter-city delivery capabilities, starting this July.

“Transferring to PITX is pivotal for Lalamove. It will help materialize our vision to expand our delivery  fleet, especially our line of trucks while enjoying the connectivity that PITX offers in Luzon and inter island transportation and shipping. This is aligned with our mission to continuously empower the  communities we serve – our loyal users, businesses of all sizes, and partner drivers,” said Lalamove Philippines Managing Director Djon Nacario.

According to Nacario, Lalamove is geared in the right direction to provide better access to its network  of partner drivers in the entirety of Luzon.

He explained, “Providing accessibility is our top priority for all our partner drivers. We will now have a  bigger area to accommodate all kinds of delivery fleets, especially trucks. On top of this, extending  livelihood opportunities for those interested to be Lalamove partner drivers or fleet operators will be  even easier at PITX.”

Landport efficiency: transport and logistics in one facility

With Lalamove now at PITX, the landport strengthens its position as a multi-modal hub with the addition of logistics to its portfolio.

“We warmly welcome Lalamove to PITX, which is committed to providing mobility solutions for both  passengers and goods. On top of seamless transport connections, we are now helping deliver seamless logistics for one of the country’s top last-mile delivery providers,” said Jaime Raphael Feliciano, President of MWM Terminals, Inc.

“Lalamove’s on-demand delivery solutions show their commitment to improving convenience and efficiency in the country. We are proud to be their partner in this endeavor,” said PITX Chief Executive Advisor Mohit Malhi.

Feliciano further added that “PITX has an opportunity to expand its concept as a transportation hub into a business center anchored on multi-modal connectivity and ease of commute for workers.”

For Lalamove, PITX is a strategic location because of its accessibility and proximity to other major  transport hubs like the airport. The PITX also houses the Land Transportation Office (LTO) which makes  it more strategic in processing license concerns of both partner drivers and fleet owners. “We have a  massive network of professional partner drivers and a total of 48 serviceable areas, so we’re hopeful  that the move to PITX will keep our numbers growing. The place is accessible, especially for truck  delivery vehicles, so the move helps us provide livelihood opportunities in a more accessible way to all  Filipinos,” said Mr. Nacario.

PITX is a multi-modal hub with inter and intra-island travel options expanding from Luzon to Mindanao, with four office towers that are built-to-suit fit out with standard furniture. Aside from its strategic location and transportation options, the landport also has Office Tower spaces for local Business Processing Outsource (BPO) companies.
