Kia Philippines opened the year with a nationwide sales push in January. Dubbed the “Kia Movement,” this event combines a mall-based brand showcase with dealership-wide purchase incentives to improve affordability and ownership value for Filipinos.
The first leg of the 2026 Kia Movement was held at the SM North EDSA from January 16 to 18, 2026. There, it brought together Kia’s lineup of internal combustion, hybrid, and fully electric vehicles in a public display setting. Alongside the vehicle showcase, Kia also rolled out January-long discounts of up to P400,000 on select models across participating dealerships nationwide.
“Starting the year with the Kia Movement allows us to connect with customers, showcase our latest models, and provide incentives that enhance ownership value. This event is part of our ongoing efforts to shape the future of mobility in the Philippines, reflecting Kia’s commitment to delivering innovative, capable, transformative, and customer-focused solutions that meet the evolving needs of Filipino drivers,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines.

Kia is highlighting several models as part of its January sales offering. The Kia Sorento Hybrid is available with a low down payment option starting at P28,000 or with discounts of up to P100,000. Meanwhile, the Kia Sonet comes with deferred payment schemes or savings of up to P90,000. Joining the lineup is the Kia Seltos SX with an adjusted sticker price of P1.288 million, while the Kia Carnival has flexible “drive now, pay later” options for easier purchasing. Kia says that all promos are available until the end of the month, subject to dealership participation.
Visitors to the SM North EDSA event were offered additional on-site benefits, including reservation vouchers of up to P20,000, test-drive rewards, and added incentives for buyers of Kia’s electric vehicles, such as charging credits provided by ACMobility, Kia’s official local distributor.

Vehicles on display include the Kia Sonet K-Style, Kia Seltos, Kia Sorento, Kia Carnival in diesel and hybrid variants, and the fully electric Kia EV9. The mall event also featured a preview of the upcoming EV5, which is slated for its local debut in the first half of 2026.
Kia reassured that this is just the start of several Kia Movement mall events and sales push it plans to hold this year. This comes on top of its regular dealership-based events and attendance at major auto shows. The Kia Movement is part of the brand’s push to make 2026 its best year ever.
