inDrive, PITX partner to enhance commuter experience

inDrive, a global mobility platform, has signed a strategic partnership with the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), the country’s premier landport, to advance commuter convenience and promote equitable transport solutions. The agreement seeks to improve last-mile connectivity and broaden earning opportunities for partner drivers, reflecting both organizations’ commitment to safe, accessible, and people-centric mobility.

The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement signed by inDrive Business Development Head Sofia Guinto, inDrive Regional Director Mark Tolley, and PITX Chief Operating Officer Mohit Malhi. It signifies a shared vision of improving urban transport by fostering innovative, inclusive, and efficient mobility services.

“At inDrive, we’ve always believed that mobility is a right, not a privilege,” said Sofia Guinto. “This partnership goes beyond providing a booth—it reflects our dedication to creating a transport ecosystem that empowers both drivers and passengers through fairness and inclusion.”

PITX, which recorded more than 50 million passengers in 2024, remains one of the most critical transit hubs in Metro Manila. The integration of inDrive’s services allows commuters traveling to and from PITX to access ride-hailing services to various destinations within Metro Manila and MUCEP (Metro Manila Urban Transportation Integration Study Update and Capacity Enhancement Program) areas such as Cavite and Laguna. A dedicated pickup zone and standby dispatch support ensure shorter wait times and better availability.

This collaboration is also part of inDrive’s expanded Ligtas Biyahe campaign, an ongoing initiative promoting road safety, fair practices, and community empowerment in the mobility sector. The inDrive booth at PITX will serve as a multi-functional support space, offering app assistance, driver onboarding, safety briefings, and distributing public awareness materials on transport safety.

“We are proud to collaborate with inDrive in rethinking how technology can meet on-ground commuter needs,” said Mohit Malhi, COO of PITX. “This partnership aligns with our commitment to delivering modern, safe, and commuter-focused transport solutions.”

The inDrive booth is now operational at the PITX Podium Building Taxi Bay Area and is open to the public as of June 26, 2025.
