Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) continues to expand their presence with the recent inauguration of a new Hyundai pop-up store at Robinson’s North Tacloban. The inauguration coincided with a ceremonial groundbreaking for the Hyundai Tacloban dealership along National Highway, Palo. Both installations aim to serve car buyers and enthusiasts in the busy Eastern Visayan region of Leyte.
Key HMPH executives, including President Mr. Dongwook Lee and Managing Director Mr. Cecil Capacete, attended the event. This occasion also marked the formal introduction of a partnership with Topcars Autoworld Corporation, which will manage the Hyundai Tacloban dealership. Topcars representatives Mr. Willard Chan, President, Mr. Ryan Lindbergh Chan, Managing Director, and Ms. Charlene Lesley Chan, Chief Finance Officer, were present at both ceremonies.
Tacloban, the most populous city in Eastern Visayas, is a strategic location for Hyundai to extend its reach and showcase its innovative mobility solutions. The city offers a promising market for locals to explore Hyundai’s diverse range of vehicles, especially since Tacloban is a major transportation and distribution hub in Eastern Visayas.
