Grab Philippines, in collaboration with motorcycle taxi company MOVE IT, is taking significant strides toward promoting a more holistic approach to health and wellness for its fleet of driver, delivery, and rider-partners. Through their recent “Health & Wheelness Driver Care Event,” more than 4,000 partners and their families engaged in seminars, workshops, and wellness activities designed to improve their overall well-being.
The event brought together expert speakers from the MMDA, Philippine Red Cross (PRC), First Metro Asset Management, and Pag-IBIG, offering valuable insights into healthy living, social protection, road safety, and financial wellness. Attendees also had access to free medical, dental, and eye check-ups. Partnering with Generika Pharmacy, Grab and MOVE IT distributed vitamins, health supplements, and necessary medications following consultations, while 700 pre-registered participants received complimentary dentures tailored to their dental needs.
Furthering their commitment to social protection, Grab and MOVE IT provided on-site booths where Pag-IBIG and PhilHealth helped partners with swift accreditation and membership applications. The event saw numerous partners leave with newly issued Loyalty Card Plus and health IDs.
“Grab and MOVE IT driver- and rider-partners are among the most hardworking in the country, but in their dedication, they often forget to care for their health,” said CJ Lacsican, Grab Philippines Head of Cities and Business Operations. “This is why we continue to take initiatives to help them maintain not just their livelihood but also their health and well-being.”
Participants enjoyed pampering self-care services, including complimentary haircuts, massages, and nail care. Meanwhile, online seminars for partners unable to attend in person ensured broader access to valuable health and wellness information. Top speakers from the PRC, Department of Agriculture, and Shell Philippines shared expertise on topics ranging from nutrition to vehicle maintenance.
Additionally, vehicle support services such as complimentary oil changes were offered by Shell and Mechanigo.Ph, ensuring that partners’ vehicles remain in top condition.

The commitment to promoting wellness extends to Grab and MOVE IT’s innovative use of technology, such as the “Fatigue Nudge” feature, which encourages driver-partners to take breaks after extended hours. On-demand learning platforms like GrabAcademy and Ka-MOVE IT Academy also provide courses on physical and mental health and financial literacy, helping partners prioritize their well-being.
