GAC Motor Philippines played host for the international debut of the all-new GS3 — signaling the start of the nameplate’s retail in the country.
“The GS3 Emzoom is the newest challenger in the scene, set to drive the GAC brand to new heights and zoom through Philippine roads with its fierce and sporty character,” GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Jun Cajayon said, expressing utmost trust on the new offering that was first revealed in China late last year.
Similar to its Empow and Emkoo, the all-new GS3 Emzoom wears a sharp angular edges, geometric textures. It has a Flying Wing Front Grille matched with Laser-Eye LED, arc shadow blades at the sides that lead to its light dart tail lamps.
The aforementioned features are complemented by the 19-inch alloy wheels and a body kit that exclusive to its the top-of-the-range option.
Further, the vehicle sports a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that has wireless Apple Carplay and Android Phone Mirroring connectivity, seven-inch LCD instrument cluster, multi-function steering wheel, leather seats, wireless charging, and futuristic air-conditioning vents.
In addition, the all-new GAC GS3 Emzoom comes with sunroof with electric shades and a power tailgate.
Moreover, latest offering is fitted with hill-start hold control, hill descent control, electronic parking brake with autohold, and electronic stability program, as well as advanced driver assistance systems such as high-beam assist, traffic jam assist, lane keep assist and lane departure warning.
The all-new GAC GS3 Emzoom is powered by the third-generation 1.5 turbocharged gasoline direct-inject engine mated to a seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission — that can provide up to 174hp and 270Nm of torque.
Retailed in Salt Lake Blue, Graphene Grey, Moonlight Grey, Ivory White, and Superstar Silver body color options, the all-New GS3 Emzoom comes in three variants:
• 1.5L GS DCT for P998,000
• 1.5L GB DCT for P1,098,000
• 1.5L GL DCT for P1,198,000
