All set for another action-packed one-on-one racing, Round 3 of the Touge Battle will be happening this coming weekend. Aside from Touge Battle, other racing series organized by the Aggressive Line Events will be held this coming July 15 to 16, 2023 at the Batangas Racing Circuit under A-Line Events’ Full Throttle Weekend.
But before jumping into the weekend, let us take a look at the results of the previous Touge Battle round that happened last April 29, 2023 at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
Karl Mallen was hailed the Touge Battle 2nd round Bantam Class Champion. For the Economy Class, John Paredes took the top spot with Jules Tiu following in second place. Meanwhile, Eliel Alonzo was able to snag the Regular Class top podium spot. Chang Cruz and C.J. Dy completed the class podium finishes in second and third place, respectively.
The Premium Class was won by Cristopher Co followed by James Ong in second place. Julius Yparraguirre completes the Premium Class podium with his third place finish. The Turbo+ Class was championed by Boboy Rabe. Zachary Mendoza finished second place in the class, followed by Jay Lazaga in third. The Prestige Class was dominated by Rafael Lao with this first place finish. Neal Valerio followed in second place with Ken Badiola in third.
Moving into the Race categories, the Race 3 Class was championed by Ronald Fortin. For the Race 2 Class, it was Dondi San Jose who emerged to the top over Andre Tan who finished in second place and Lance Binamira who finished in third. Lastly, the top category Race 1 Class was again dominated by Angelo Magtoto, who also posted the fastest time of the day in his Toyota Supra A90 during the time trial sessions. The Race 1 Class podium finishers include Jan Torado in second and Struan Wallace in third place.
Round 3 of the Touge Battle is happening this Saturday at the Batangas Racing Circuit. Day 2 of the Full Throttle Weekend will see the event’s grid races including the European Touring Car Championship Series Philippines grid races, Historic Mini Cooper grid races, and Open Elite 100 track sessions.
