The Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) and the local government of the municipality Lubang, are hosting the first-ever Rally of Lubang. The inter-island rally is part of the Philippine National Rally Championship (PNRC) 2025 season as the series’ Rounds 2 and 3. Races will be happening this weekend June 27 to 28 in Lubang, Occidental Mindoro.
Last June 21, 2025, a ceremonial flag off to officially kick of the historic rally event was held at the Okada Manila. The ceremonial flag off served as one of the many events under this year’s Motorsport Carnivale. The event was graced by top AAP executives in the form of AAP President Joe Ferreria and AAP Motorsports Chairman Mandy Eduque. Prior to the ceremonial take off, the rally’s official scrutineering session was also held, wherein participants had their rally cars checked for technical and safety compliance.



The Rally of Lubang is an all-tarmac rally with a total rally distance of over 110-kilometers, and is scheduled for two rounds. First round of Rally of Lubang is a night rally happening on June 27, Friday. The night race will have six special stages and will be divided into two legs with three stages each. Total rally distance is 61 kilometers, total special stage distance is 37 kilometers.
On June 28, Saturday, will be the second round of the Lubang Rally, the Round 3 of the 2025 PNRC season. The day-time rally is scheduled for six special stages and will be divided into two legs with three stages each leg. Total rally distance for this round is 55 kilometers, 35 kilometers of which is the total special stages distance.

A total of 17 competitors signed up for the inter-island rally that is expected to make a mark in Philippine motorsport history. Participants of the Lubang Rally started shipping their rally cars to the island as early as June 23, Monday via RoRo.
