BYD Cars Philippines has outlined how its current vehicle lineup is positioned for different types of motorists this holiday season, offering a better look at how each model fits various driving needs. Operating under ACMobility, BYD released an overview as it prepares for its year-end activities and promotions.

For those who prioritize comfort on daily drives, BYD highlights the Sealion 5 DM-i. The electric compact crossover offers a quiet cabin that allows for a more relaxed ride. Its Super DM-i system, which consists of a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that serves as a power generator and range extender for the onboard electric motor and Blade battery, is the key to its smooth power delivery and electric performance.

Meanwhile, drivers who need more range and in-car tech may find the BYD Seal 5 DM-i more suitable. According to BYD, the model delivers a combined driving range of over 1,200 km and features a rotating 12.8-inch infotainment screen, paired with a digital instrument cluster. Similar to the Sealion 5 DM-i, it features a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that acts as a power generator and range extender to run an electric motor once the Blade battery reaches low power.

The BYD Atto 3 continues to target city drivers and those who prefer an all-electric option. BYD claims that the Atto 3 archives a driving range of 480 km of range. The Atto 3 is positioned as a practical daily urban explorer with capabilities that allow it to be driven for occasional out-of-town trips near the metro. Its interior layout and 15.6-inch rotating head unit also cater to motorists who value a more expressive cabin.

The all-electric BYD eMax 7 MPV, on the other hand, is valued for its interior and cargo space, ideal for family trips or delivering loads of holiday gifts in style. Powering the BYD eMax 7 is the brand’s Blade battery that runs an electric motor. BYD says it achieves a driving range of 420 km to 530 km, depending on the variant, suggesting that holiday travelers need not worry about range anxiety.

Finally, for motorists who’re in for outdoor adventures, BYD recommends the Shark 6 DM-O pickup truck. It features a dual-mode off-road (DMO) technology, giving it the edge of instant power delivery, driving refinement, and efficiency. It’s got a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine paired to two eclectic motors that drive the front and rear wheels. It gets power from a 29.6 KWh Blade battery, allowing the powertrain to deliver 435 hp and 650 Nm of torque.

To support its holiday push, BYD is offering special deals in celebration of the brand’s 31st anniversary. These include savings of up to P220,000, P25,000 ACMobility charging credits, and low downpayment options. Catch all these and experience BYD at the upcoming  BYD Tech Tour at Bonifacio High Street from December 5 to 7, 2025, 11:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
