BYD Cars Philippines has officially sold its 10,000th New Energy Vehicle (NEV) in the country—a landmark moment for the brand as it continues to push electrified mobility in the local market.

The milestone unit, a BYD e6 Max 7 all-electric MPV, was turned over to tech executive Adrian Goh on April 30. Goh received the vehicle in a ceremonial handover attended by top BYD and ACMobility executives, including BYD Philippines Country Head Aiffy Liu, BYD Singapore and Philippines Managing Director James Ng, and ACMobility-BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca.

To celebrate the achievement, BYD is offering weekend-only deals from May 16 to 18 at all dealerships nationwide. New buyers can get up to ₱10,000 in savings and a ₱1,000 charging coupon, while existing owners buying a second unit can save up to ₱20,000 and receive a ₱2,000 charging coupon.

“Selling our 10,000th NEV is a big milestone. It’s a vote of confidence from Filipino consumers,” said Palanca. “Each BYD vehicle delivered represents a step toward cleaner, smarter mobility.”

The milestone comes on the back of rapid growth for the brand. BYD has expanded its lineup from four to ten models since January 2024, including battery-electric and DM-i hybrid models. It also plans to end 2025 with a total of 77 dealerships nationwide.

“Delivering 10,000 NEVs in just over a year is a major accomplishment,” said Liu. “As the world’s number one NEV brand, we’re committed to giving Filipino car buyers more smart and sustainable choices.”
