Kia Philippines has expanded its dealership network in the Visayas with the opening of Kia Bacolod, a new facility offering vehicle sales, after-sales service and genuine spare parts under one roof.

Inaugurated on October 19, 2026, the dealership is located along Lacson Street in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City. It was established in partnership with Ponce Automobile Corporation, bringing Kia’s full-service dealership experience closer to customers in Negros Occidental and the surrounding areas.

The facility follows Kia’s global Store Image Standards, with a 485 sqm showroom capable of displaying five to six models from the brand’s lineup. The opening also featured the local unveiling of the Kia EV3, expanding the company’s electric vehicle offerings in the Philippine market.

The EV3’s introduction gives prospective electric vehicle buyers in Bacolod and the wider Negros region another model to explore as interest in electrified mobility grows. The new dealership also allows customers to view Kia’s latest vehicles, arrange test drives and access maintenance services without having to look beyond their local market.

Supporting the showroom is a 527-square-meter service workshop equipped with five work bays and three vehicle lifters. The setup is designed to accommodate routine maintenance and other service requirements, while the dealership’s spare parts operations provide access to genuine Kia components.

“Partnering with Ponce Automobile Corporation allows us to combine Kia’s global vision with local market expertise,” said Jay Lopez, managing director of Kia Philippines.

Lopez added that the facility is intended to provide customers in Negros Occidental with quality service and support throughout vehicle ownership.

Kia Philippines said the opening reinforces its commitment to making mobility solutions more accessible across the Negros Island Region.

Kia Bacolod is open Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Customers can visit the dealership to explore the lineup, schedule test drives and book vehicle maintenance.

Autocar’s Take

The new Bacolod dealership is a welcome development for motorists in Negros Occidental. Buying a vehicle is only the beginning of ownership, and having sales, servicing and genuine spare parts available locally can make a meaningful difference over the years. The facility’s introduction of the Kia EV3 is also worth watching, particularly as more Filipino buyers consider electric vehicles.

However, expanding access is only the beginning. Consistent after-sales support, reasonable service costs and dependable parts availability will complete the formula. For the brand, delivering on these promises matters as much as opening new showrooms.
