VinFast is offering dealer incentives of up to US$60,000 (around P3,768,000 in today’s exchange rate) per new showroom as it looks to expand its electric motorcycle (e-motorcycle) distribution network in the Philippines, giving local businesses a financial incentive to join its growing electric mobility operations.
The program covers new VinFast e-motorcycle showrooms opened in either market by December 31, 2026. Eligible dealer partners can receive basic support of up to US$40,000 (P2,519,000 in local money) per location, depending on showroom size, floor area, and compliance with dealership standards.
There are additional incentives for dealers that move quickly or commit to a wider network. Showrooms opened by October 31, 2026, qualify for an additional US$5,000 (approximately P313,990.00), while partners opening at least three stores can receive another US$15,000 (roughly P941,970.00) per location. Depending on eligibility, the combined incentives can reach US$60,000 for each showroom.
Beyond financial assistance, VinFast says it will help dealers establish and operate their businesses through consulting, marketing support, and professional training. The company will also guide partners in meeting its requirements for showroom design, brand identity, operating procedures, and customer service.

Participating dealers will initially offer three battery-swapping electric motorcycle models: the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper. VinFast says its battery-swapping technology, alongside its expanding service and warranty facilities, will help support customers as they transition to electric two-wheelers. The company will also provide assistance for service workshops, giving dealers additional support for after-sales operations.
Vo Thi Cam Tu, managing director of VinFast E-Motorcycle Overseas Markets, said the expansion is part of the company’s strategy to establish an electric motorcycle ecosystem in international markets. She added that VinFast intends to work closely with partners, from showroom development to daily operations and customer service.
The company is targeting hundreds of stores across the Philippines by the end of 2026.
The initiative could create opportunities for local businesses interested in electric mobility, while giving consumers more potential points of access to electric motorcycles and related services. However, the pace of expansion will depend on dealer participation, showroom development, and the availability of supporting infrastructure.
VinFast’s latest incentive package therefore serves two purposes: attracting new dealership partners and building the retail and after-sales network needed to support wider adoption of electric motorcycles, not only in the Philippines but also across Southeast Asia. Whether the company reaches its ambitious store targets will become clearer as the year-end deadline approaches.

Autocar’s Take
VinFast’s US$60,000 dealer incentive is an aggressive move to build its electric motorcycle presence in the Philippines. Financial support can make opening a showroom more attractive, particularly for businesses still weighing the risks of entering the EV market. However, incentives alone will not guarantee long-term success.
Customers also need dependable after-sales service, accessible battery-swapping facilities, and confidence that parts and warranties will remain available. VinFast’s expansion plans will ultimately be judged by how well its network serves everyday riders, not simply by the number of dealerships it opens. Strong local support for the Vietnamese e-mobility brand will be essential for sustained growth.
