Nissan Philippines has given the Kicks e-Power a significant update for 2027, bringing refreshed styling, more technology, and additional driver-assistance features to its hybrid crossover lineup. Prices now start at P1.499 million.
The facelifted Kicks e-Power is offered in three variants: VE at P1.499 million, VL at P1.649 million, and the range-topping LE Plus at P1.749 million. Despite the extensive equipment changes, Nissan retains the model’s e-Power system, which uses a gasoline engine to generate electricity while an electric motor provides propulsion.
The system pairs a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor and a 2.10-kWh lithium-ion battery. The electric motor produces 136 PS and 280 Nm, giving the Kicks the driving characteristics of an electric vehicle without requiring external charging.
For 2027, Nissan has reworked the Kicks’ exterior with revised LED lighting, a redesigned front bumper and lower air intakes, along with updated rear styling. The changes are complemented by new 17-inch two-tone wheels and revised Kicks badging. Selected variants are also available with a contrasting black roof.
The bigger story, however, is the technology added to the cabin.
The updated Kicks receives a new digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, while other convenience features include wireless smartphone charging, automatic climate control and Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats. Higher variants also gain features such as a power-adjustable driver’s seat and intelligent rearview mirror.
NissanConnect Services adds another layer of connectivity, allowing owners to access selected vehicle information and functions through a smartphone.
Safety equipment has also been expanded. Depending on the variant, the Kicks can be equipped with technologies such as front and rear autonomous emergency braking, lane-departure prevention, blind-spot intervention and rear cross-traffic alert.
The top-spec LE Plus further benefits from Nissan’s ProPILOT system, combining adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assistance and stop-and-go functionality.
With the facelift, Nissan is effectively giving the Kicks e-Power a technology-focused update while keeping its existing electrified driving concept intact. The higher pricing reflects the model’s broader equipment list, but the Kicks continues to occupy an interesting space in the local crossover market: it delivers electric-motor propulsion while retaining a gasoline engine as its onboard power source.
The 2027 Kicks e-Power therefore arrives not as an entirely new model, but as a more comprehensively equipped version of Nissan’s existing electrified crossover, aimed at buyers looking for EV-like operation without the need to plug in.

The 2027 Nissan Kicks e-Power is an interesting update because Nissan didn’t need to reinvent its electrified crossover formula. Instead, it focused on the areas buyers notice every day: cabin technology, convenience, safety, and styling. The addition of a 12.3-inch display, expanded driver-assistance features, and NissanConnect Services gives the Kicks a much more modern proposition.
The P1.499-million starting price is certainly higher than before, but the increased equipment helps explain where the updated model is positioned. More importantly, its e-Power setup remains a distinctive alternative for buyers who want electric-motor driving without having to worry about charging infrastructure.
