Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has once again cemented its leadership in the local commercial vehicle industry after retaining its distinction as the Philippines’ number one truck brand for the 26th consecutive year. The Japanese brand has announced this latest achievement following the latest vehicle sales report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA).
According to the report, IPC closed 2025 with a total truck sales record of 4,794 units, translating to a dominant 42.2% market share. This notable performance represents a 4.4% year-on-year growth, highlighting Isuzu’s continued strength amidst an increasingly competitive segment.
On top of the overall volume leadership, Isuzu also secured the industry-coveted Triple Crown by topping sales in the Category III, IV, and V truck segments, covering light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty applications. The achievement puts the spotlight on IPC’s product lineup and its ability to support a wide range of industries. These include small and medium enterprises, large-scale businesses, construction, and logistics, among others.
In Category III, IPC recorded 2,814 units sold, securing a 41.5% market share and extending its segment leadership to 27 years. IPC said that the N-Series remained a key contributor to this as the model is widely used in logistics, retail distribution, and construction, with features such as fuel-efficient engines, driver-focused ergonomics, and the availability of Automated Manual Transmission (ATM) for improved drivability.
On the other hand, Category IV sales reached 1,647 units, giving IPC a 44.6% market share and a 7% increase compared to 2024. The Isuzu F-Series continued to see strong demand in industries such as logistics, cold chain, and industrial transport sectors.
IPC also led Category V with 333 units sold, posting a 36% year-on-year growth and a 37.5% market share. Growth in this segment is driven by the Isuzu S- and E-Series, commonly deployed in large-scale logistics and government-led infrastructure projects.
IPC attributes its sustained market dominance to the Isuzu Advantage, a comprehensive after-sales ecosystem supported by a nationwide dealer network, extensive parts availability, mobile service solutions, and ongoing driver and mechanic training programs.

Autocar’s Take
Isuzu’s 26-year leadership streak in the local commercial vehicle segment is notable not because of its length alone, but because it has been sustained across shifting market conditions and evolving customer demands. The consistency of IPC’s performance across all major truck segments is a strategy anchored in lasting ownership value, rather than quick sales gains.
The brand’s emphasis on after-sales support, fleet training, and operational uptime matches closely with how commercial vehicles are actually used in the Philippines. For fleet operators and business owners, especially those who manage small and medium enterprises, IPC’s results solidify the idea that reliability and support infrastructure are still among the most important factors in truck purchasing decisions.
