The Suzuki Fronx has earned a 5-star rating in the latest ASEAN New Car Assessment Program (ASEAN NCAP), solidifying its standing as one of the safest choices in the compact crossover category. Evaluated under the 2021-2025 protocol, the Indonesian-made 2025 Suzuki Fronx scored 77.70 points, placing it among the top performers assessed under the program’s more demanding standards for occupant and pedestrian safety.
The Fronx posted strong results in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), Child Occupant Protection (COP), Safety Assist (SA), and Motorcyclist Safety (MS). The ASEAN NCAP notes that the model’s structural rigidity, together with its extensive suite of active and passive safety features contributed to stable performance in every category.
In more detail, the Suzuki Fronx scored 36.71 points in the AOP category, while its COP performance is rated at 15.27 points. For SA, the model received 15.71 points, while its MS score came in at 10 points. This outcome reflects Suzuki’s ongoing efforts to raise overall vehicle safety as regional benchmarks continue to evolve.
According to Suzuki, the highlight of the Fronx’s strong vehicle safety feat is its Heartect platform. Built with high-rigidity materials, the structure dispenses impact forces to reduce cabin deformation during collisions. Moreover, Suzuki fitted the Fronx with six airbags covering front, side, and curtain areas. It also has ISOFIX anchors with top tether hooks for a more secure child seat installation. Seatbelt reminders for all occupants further reinforce daily safety habits.

The Fronx also features Suzuki Safety Support, the brand’s own advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) forward collision warning (FCW), autonomous emergency braking (EAB), lane departure warning (LDW), lane departure prevention (LDP), and lane keep assist (LKAS). The model also keeps an eye out for the driver’s blind spots with its blind spot detection and rear cross traffic alert systems, which Suzuki emphasised as one of the important components of ASEAN NCAP’s updated protocol.
For everyday driving, the Suzuki Fronx is equipped with electronic stability control (ESC), anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), and hill hold control (HHC) – technologies that help the driver be in control in various driving conditions. Up front, an auto high-beam function enhances nighttime visibility by automatically adjusting headlight output.

With its five-star rating, the Suzuki Fronx further strengthens Suzuki’s position in the compact crossover market. It’s aimed at families, young professionals, and city-focused drivers seeking modern safety technology paired with practical daily usability.
