The Bureau of Customs (BOC) announced that it now has possession of all twelve luxury cars linked to the Discaya family. This came after a court-ordered search operation in the family’s grounds in Pasig City.
The search operation, conducted on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the St. Gerrard Construction General Contractor and Development Corp., was authorized by a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court of Manila, Branch 18. The vehicles secured include a 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 3.3 V6 ZX AT and a 2022 Maserati Levante Modena. These were earlier discovered during an initial search by BOC’s Intelligence and Enforcement units.

The operation, however, didn’t manage to secure the remaining ten vehicles. This prompted BOC Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno to issue a warning to the Discaya family that the agency has a clear intent to obtain the luxury cars. Nepomuceno made certain that any attempt to bar or delay the operation would result in the imposition of duties, taxes, and penalties under the law.
The operation commenced on Tuesday evening, resulting in the BOC seizing seven more vehicles. These include a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Benz G-500, Mercedes-AMG G 63, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia, and Cadillac Escalade.

The last three vehicles, a GMC Yukon Denali and two Lincoln Navigators, were confirmed to be in authorized service centers for repairs. BOC stated that these will be surrendered once they are released from servicing.
BOC now has all twelve luxury vehicles sealed and secured at the Pasig compound. The agency confirmed that the area is guarded, at all times, by BOC and personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

BOC is now verifying the vehicles’ importation records to ensure that all are in compliance with customs laws. If issues are found, legal actions will be taken under the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
Nepomuceno noted that the Discayas heeded his warning. He also gave credit to the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine National Police (PNP) – Eastern Police District (EPD), Highway Patrol Group (HPG), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and officials of Barangay Bambang, Pasig City, for helping in the successful search and seizure operation.
