Organized by Tuason Racing, this combined motorsports event at the 4.2Km long Clark International Speedway in Pampanga featured more than 20 novice and seasoned drivers battling it out for the win onboard Toyota 1NZ-powered machines. These include the Toyota Yaris, Vios, and the single-seat Formula V1 challenger.

Formula V1

The race weekend featured two sessions (Races 3 & 4) of Formula V1. Featuring purpose-built lightweight single-seat racing machines, the V1s roared straight out of the grid, fighting for the best lines leading to the first corner.

Garcia also dominated the Rookie Class, followed closely by Ethan Ong of Ethanworx Racing Team. Joining them in 3rd was Edgesport Racing Team’s Will Lucas.

In the afternoon, the rain came pouring down to add some more challenge. Despite the poor visibility and slippery track condition, Okumoto once again came out on top in the Overall Class, while another Japanese racer, Masahiro Aoai of team Ribbon Arc Racing, clinched 2nd place. Completing the top 3 was Bryan Co once more. Meanwhile in Rookie Class, Ong, Lucas, and Garcia were once again seen on the podium, winning the race in that order.
