
Metro Comet Transport Service Cooperative has taken a significant step in modernizing their public transportation by receiving 15 new Isuzu Modern PUV Class 2 units. The turnover ceremony took place at Ayala Mall Solenad in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, presenting the new vehicles manufactured by Centro Manufacturing Corporation.
The ceremony was led by Metro Comet Chairman Ed Comia and attended by key figures including Dr. Divine Quemi, CEO of Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives; LTFRB Region 4A Director Radm. Loumer P. Bernabe; IPC Head of Sales Mario Ojales; and Assistant Sales Manager Lotis San Jose from Centro Manufacturing Corporation.
The new Isuzu Modern PUV Class 2 units are designed to offer enhanced comfort, safety, and efficiency, ensuring a superior commuting experience for passengers. These units are expected to serve the community effectively, contributing to the ongoing efforts to modernize the Philippines’ public transportation infrastructure.
Chairman Comia expressed his enthusiasm for the milestone, stating, “This turnover of 15 Isuzu Modern PUV units is a pivotal moment for Metro Comet. It underscores our commitment to providing modern, safe, and reliable public transportation for our community. We are dedicated to improving the commuting experience and supporting sustainable transport initiatives.”

LTFRB Region 4A Director Radm. Loumer P.
