Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has announced the top 40 racers who will compete in the quarterfinals of this year’s Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Philippines eSports GT Championship.
Leading up to this, TMP held a qualifying round last September. The nationwide time trial drew more than 250 participants who took on the Suzuka East Short Course Course on Gran Turismo 7 using the Toyota Supra RZ ’20. From this competitive field, 40 racers recorded the fastest lap times, earning them a spot in the next stage.
The TGR Philippines eSports GT Championship quarterfinals will be held on October 11, 2025, at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay. There, the competition will have a series of race heats to determine the top 20 who will advance to the semifinals, which will be held the next day at the same venue. From hereon, the competition will intensify as the top 10 contestants move on to the national finals, to be held later in the day. The racers who emerge as champions will represent the Philippines in the TGR Asia eSports GT Championship.

ESports enthusiasts and motorsports fans can look forward to an action-packed weekend with interactive experiences at the live event. Attendees will have the chance to try their hand at the sim racing rigs, visit gaming booths, and avail exclusive Toyota GR merchandise.
Adding to the excitement, TMP will showcase its GR lineup, including the GR86, GR Supra, and the GR Yaris. Moreover, the event will also feature the Toyota Vios and Toyota Tamaraw racing machines, both of which saw action in the 2025 Toyota GR Philippine Cup.
