Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) wants to end the year on a high note as it plans to launch the bZ4X, its first all-electric vehicle in the country, in December. This comes just weeks after TMP introduced the all-new Toyota Ativ back in October, an indication that the car brand is determined to maintain its foothold in the local automotive industry.

TMP said that the bZ4X is its way of reinforcing its multi-pathway approach in the country by offering customers the option to go full electric. In fact, Toyota PH has already opened the reservation books for the bZ4X electric vehicle (EV), giving interested individuals the opportunity to be among the first owners before its actual launch in December.

TMP President Masando Hashimoto hopes that more Filipino car buyers will consider owning a carbon-neutral vehicle, such as the bZ4X EV.

“Our multi-pathway approach is all about giving customers multiple options. I hope more Filipinos can join us in our movement toward carbon neutrality with the all-new bZ4X,” Hashimoto said.

Toyota PH added that the bZ4X is integrated with a radical design, an advanced suite of features, and a build quality that’s trusted by millions of Toyota customers worldwide. As such, TMP believes that the bZ4X can empower “customers to make the fearless leap forward toward a carbon-neutral lifestyle.”

The all-new Toyota bZ4X will be available in the following exterior colors: Emotional Red, Precious Metal, Platinum White Pearl Mica, and Dark Blue Mica. The pricing starts at P2,699,000, with an additional P15,000 if you opt for the bZ4X in Platinum White Pearl Mica, while an additional P20,000 is added for the Emotional Red colorway.

The PH-spec Toyota bZ4X comes with dual electric motors that generate a combined 338 horsepower along with 338 Nm of torque. It is also equipped with a 190 Ahr lithium-ion battery pack, but Toyota PH has yet to reveal the range capacity of the bZ4X.

Safety-wise, it features the Toyota Safety Sense, which includes a pre-collision system, automatic high beams, adaptive high beam system, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert, and dynamic radar (adaptive) cruise control.
