The Volkswagen Tharu, the German automaker’s new global SUV, has finally arrived in the Philippines, with the first batch of units rolling onto the Port of Batangas last week.
The Tharu, which is touted to be Volkswagen’s showcase of next-level SUV innovations, will be officially launched on September 29 at the Karrera Café in Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The public display and test drive of the two available variants—the SE and top-of-the-line SEL will be on September 30 and October 1. The Tharu will come in sophisticated colors such as Pure White, Mangan Grey, Petroleum Blue and Polytech Blue.
