The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) announced that motorists can now use a single radio frequency identification (RFID) sticker to drive through all toll expressways in Luzon.
Through DOTr’s “One RFID, All Tollways” program, motorists now have the option to travel with convenience with just one RFID account. Motorists can choose which RFID account to use, whether Autosweep RFID or Easytrip RFID. The unified RFID system eliminates the need for multiple RFID accounts for different expressways in Luzon, which translates to a more convenient drive and better pass-through times on toll plazas.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. emphasized that the unified RFID would reduce delays for motorists and would put an end to the confusion brought upon by having two different RFIDs on toll expressways in Luzon.

“Kapag dumaan ka ng Skyway o TPLEX, Autosweep ang gagamitin mo. Kapag naman NLEX o SCTEX, Easytrip naman. Ibig sabihin, dalawang card, dalawang account, dalawang load para sa bawat biyahe,” Marcos said.
(When you pass through Skyway or TPLEX, you use Autosweep. For NLEX or SCTEX, you use Easytrip. This means two cards, two accounts, and two loads for every trip).
President Marcos also showed his appreciation to expressway operators San Miguel Corporation and Metro Pacific Investments Corporation for making the unified RFID system a reality.
“This project has been made possible because of the continued trust, commitment, and flexibility of our partner concessionaires, the operators, and ETC/RFID providers. Years of consultation and cooperation with the DOTr and the Toll Regulatory Board have finally led us to a unified system that responds to the real needs of our motorists,” Marcos added.

Motorists are encouraged to take advantage of the unified RFID system for a more seamless travel experience in toll expressways in Luzon. The DOTr shared three easy steps on how motorists can register for the One RFID, All Tollways program. See below.
- Opt-in online and choose your preferred RFID Service Provider (Autosweep or Easytrip).
- Remove the unchosen RFID sticker at the authorized customer service centers.
- Load up your chosen RFID account.
President Marcos explained that the registration for the unified RFID system is optional. He clarified that motorists are not mandated to do such.
“Optional po ito. Kung hindi ninyo naman nagagamit ang isang sistema, ay setup ninyo, bahala kayo kung ano ‘yung kailangan ninyo. Kung kailangan ninyo ‘yung dalawang sistema na ipagsama nandiyan ang option,” Marcos added.
(This is optional. If you’re not using one of the systems, you can set it up based on what you need. If you want to combine the two systems, that option is available.)
