The struggle is real. At least for Nissan and its Almera model. Ever since it was launched some 6 years ago, the Almera did not seem really pick up in our market.
This made it very hard for the new team that took over 5-years ago to find a niche for the Almera since it’s competing models, the Vios and the Mirage, was taking almost the whole segment market.
Now, Nissan comes out with an Almera N-Sport model to, they hope, jump start the brand one more time.
Nissan is probably thinking that if the Toyota Vios can do it, why not their Almera.
Anyway, because, truth to tell, the Almera is a pretty good take for a small car, we would hope that this N-Sport can give it the boost it needs.
The new Almera is equipped with exclusive N-Sport Exterior Parts to give it a sleek sporty design that takes comfortable riding and driving to the next level.
It comes in two variants, the Almera 1.5 N-Sport MT or manual transmission and the Almera 1.5 N-Sport AT.
It has good looking accessories that come with the N-Sport badge like Chrome Front Grille, N-Sport Design Front Bumper, Side Skirts, Rear Spoiler, N-Sport Design 15” Alloy Wheels and N-Sport Emblem on the outside.
These models come in 3 colors, Brilliant Silver, Bluish Black and Sapphire Metallic Blue.
Nissan says the Almera N-Sport will be available in all Nissan dealerships nationwide beginning at Php735,000, starting April 4, 2019.
